Job Purpose
The Marketing
Communications intern is someone who is passionate about driving relevant and
effective content marketing and be a brand steward in PETRONAS Shop’s
communications channels. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to work
closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing content/campaigns.
You should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and liaise
with multiple stakeholders in carrying out your daily tasks. You will work
closely with various departments, including Merchandising, Design, Sales, and
Platform Operations, to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
Adaptability, strong analytical and communication skills are key to thriving in
this fast-paced environment.
Principle Accountabilities
- Support all marketing communications functions of
PETRONAS Shop, including social media, email marketing, ad platforms, inbox and
internal communications channels
- Produce copywriting for all platforms where
needed
- Create original content, not limited to text,
photo, graphic and video formats, and work with designers to ensure timely
production of design collateral where support is needed
- Marketing support during on-ground events
including ad-hoc postings, stakeholder management and liaising with customers
on-ground
- Work closely with other teams to update new
launches, campaign setups, and product visibility across platforms
- Respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Collaborate and work closely with internal and
external stakeholders, agencies, vendors and partners to ensure smooth
execution of daily tasks
- Navigate through social media solutions to
identify trends and customer insights with the objective of building relevant
and inspiring content
- Ensure accuracy in reporting and assist in
preparing data for internal presentations and discussions
