Internship (Food Solutions)  

Job Summary:

You will play a part in:

  • Collaborate with the food solutions team to research, develop, and test new food products, recipes, and menu items.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging food trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products in the food industry.
  • Assist in creating and optimizing food menus for various customer segments, considering dietary preferences and nutritional requirements.
  • Participate in recipe development and refinement, ensuring consistency and quality across all food offerings.
  • Help analyze the nutritional content of food items and provide recommendations for healthier options or ingredient substitutions.
  • Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for food products and menu items, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Work with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and establish relationships for ongoing supply needs.
  • Assist in ensuring that all food offerings meet safety and regulatory requirements, including labeling, allergen information, and food handling practices.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback related to food offerings to make improvements and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Maintain records of food-related activities, create reports, and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and food technology, and actively participate in training opportunities.

Vital skills for this role include:

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing at least a Bachelor’s in Food Science & Technology/Food Science/Applied Science/Business Administration/Marketing.

  • Able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Good personality, positive mindset and independent.
