Internship (Graphic Designer)  

Job Purpose:

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for all aspects of PETRONAS Shop in-house and external visual communications. You will provide support in preparation of all marketing & communication materials, corporate presentations, corporate photography, video, promotion materials, trend reports, newsletters, web & social media, etc.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop visually enticing artworks for marketing communications, including marketing campaigns, online and offline promotional collaterals
  • Implement project briefs and work closely with other marketing functions, understand how to utilise creativity to communicate ideas to support a business objective for local or regional campaigns
  • An innate understanding of local culture and up-to-date design language to be applied to help best adapt regional or local campaigns
  • Proactive in generating ideas to portray concepts and advertise PETRONAS Shop
  • Maintain and guard the brand consistency throughout all visible assets, marketing or otherwise
  • Designing social media and e-commerce contents for PETRONAS Shop

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other graphic design software
  • Skills in photography, videography or motion graphic design is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative thinker and a team player who can commit to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and have strong sense of project ownership
  • Open to giving, and receiving feedback from people across all levels in the organization
  • Accurate with an attention to detail to ensure high quality and consistency of work
  • Well-organized and good time management skills
