Job Summary:

Plan and execute the opening and operation of Café Mesra stores, while also implementing initiatives to enhance sales performance, increase profitability, improve MESRA market share, and maintain the quality and consistency of the entire PETRONAS Brand experience.

You will play a part in:

  • Execution of Café Mesra outlet openings and implementation of company initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive the implementation of company guidelines and training to support the outlet management team.
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate key responsibilities and practices to the store management team to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Review outlet performance and key business indicators within the area.
  • Identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage area-wide staffing levels.
  • Obtain customer feedback to understand local customer needs.
  • Utilize data and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in area performance.
  • Manage the area-wide café crew by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting goals to improve outlet performance.
  • Ensure that Store Managers and Supervisors are managing their outlets to the best standards.
  • Support F&B Operations in training and disseminating related training material.
  • Conduct periodic audits at all outlets and cross-audit the outlets in other regions.
  • Responsible for driving the sales performance of the outlets.
  • Responsible for stock management, operational excellence, and customer experience.

Vital skills for this role include:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in analyzing financial reports.
  • Retail management experience, especially in the coffee industry.
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Problem-solving ability under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
