Manager (Marketing Communications)  

Job Purpose:

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing communication plan that promotes the company's products, services, and brand (PETRONAS Shop). You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company brand presence, engaging with the target audience, and driving revenue growth through effective communication strategies.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To develop comprehensive marketing communication strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Produce engaging, high-quality content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and more.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communication materials and ensure that messaging is aligned with the company's values and mission.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and partnerships.
  • Plan and execute public relations campaigns to enhance the company's image and reputation in the industry.
  • Oversee social media accounts, develop content calendars, and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis.
  • Develop marketing plans for events, trade shows, and conferences, including pre-event and post-event communication strategies.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing communication efforts, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage the marketing communication budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI for all activities.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications.
  • Experience in managing brands (apparels) in the retail industry is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and email marketing software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing communication strategies.
  • Experience in media relations and public relations.
  • Analytical skills to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
